BehaviourIn defence of their territory, a pair may walk side by side towards an intruder honking loudly with their necks stretched out forwards, level with their bodies. MigrationFeral populations largely sedentary although British birds migrate at the end of the breeding season to moult on the Beuly Firth, Scotland.
