Updates The following updates are available for BBi: BBi Volume 101 (2008) Update (released 18th June 2009) This update adds the Volume 101 (2008) issues of British Birds to BBi. See updates page. BBi Volume 100 (2007) Update (released 6th March 2008) This update adds the Volume 100 (2007) issues of British Birds to BBi. See updates page. BBi 1.0.2 for Mac OS X (released 27th November 2007) This update is only available to registered purchasers of BBi and is intended only for Macintosh computers. It is not applicable to a Windows PC. Known issues Problems changing Data paths on Mac OS X 10.7.x (Lion) An update to OS X 10.7.x Lion causes BBi to shut down or hang if you attempt to change the Data paths within Preferences. Although this does not affect the normal operation of the program, please see www.birdguides.com/support/mac.asp for a workaround for the problem. No content for Volume 100 (2007) British Birds issues for Volume 100 were not available at the time of going to press. See "Updates" above. Missing supplements (ringing) for Volumes 51–58 These missing assets are included in the BBi 1.0.2 Update (Macintosh users only) and will be included in any future releases and updates of the product. Volume 63 has only 10 issues Only 10 issues of British Birds were published that year (1970) — there were no November or December editions. Info panel text is unreadable and appears "blocky" on Mac OS 10.6.x (Snow Leopard) Solution: Open System Preferences > Appearance and untick the 'Use LCD font smoothing when available' box. No tooltips on buttons This is a known bug and will be fixed in future releases.
