Black Grouse
Sat in the hide for 2 hrs from 0430 this morning, the light just started to hit the birds, we were set for a cracker with not a cloud in the sky. Suddenly they all stopped and took flight. Never have I cursed a Short eared owl as much which came over the hilltop. Any other birding day it would have been a great sight. They never came back. Ah well just have to go again.
Equipment: EOS 50D, Canon 500 f4 is.
