Technical Notes for Version 4

Thank you for your comments in praise of Version 4. Clearly there are lots of you who are delighted with the availability of almost twice as many video clips and the facility to expand them to full-screen and get an image which is as good as when watching a VHS video.

However, the performance of Version 4 is variable depending on the specification of different computers, which is why we've tried to make it clear you need a high-specification computer to appreciate it. You may find the following sections helpful

If some of the videos look blurred in full-screen mode

If one panel of the screen is always completely purple
