Installation problems

Error message: "Unable to find Setup.exe" and "Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

Cause: The Version 3.0 CD-ROMs contain Windows 95 long file-names. Some CD-ROM drivers are unable to read CDs of this "Joliet" format.

Solution: Obtain and install the latest Windows 95 protected-mode CD-ROM drivers for your particular make and model of CD-ROM drive. From the Start menu, go to Settings, Control Panel, System, Device Manager and double-click on the CD-ROM to get the make and model of your drive. The best place to obtain the driver is the web-site of your CD-ROM manufacturer - e.g. http://www.toshiba.com. You could also try http://www.driverguide.com.
