This bird had chosen a tree only around 6 metres from a footpath to make its nest behind a dry lifted piece of bark on a large dead Willow, a great piece of fortune as it was simple really to get a result as the adults were so busy with bringing insects to the young. they reared a second brood in the same tree around 2 metres higher !

Nikon D300- 200-400 f4 vr lens.
