Dear Lesley - Scopac might not be the ideal solution for your husband. You can buy specialist camera backpacks with tripod carriers built in which might suit him better.

Hi I want to buy the Scopac for my husband as a birthday present but I wondered if there would be a problem for him as he takes a backpack with his photography equipment in it

Hello, when ordering the Scopepac/Lite/digipac via Birdguides (to save the £3.50 p&p from the manufacturers website) how do you order the colour you require? Thanks

Hi Ian. I've not noticed any specific features for carrying scope and tripod in this way as part of the product, but I frequently use Scopac for carrying my cumbersome tripod with my scope 'free' over my shoulder. That works very well for me as one side of my body is not being knocked against by the tripod and both hands are still free for using the bins!

would it be suitable for carrying scope and tripod together but not connected - I feel mine would soon fall off!
