Select Preferences from the Features Menu to open the preferences window. A series of tabs along the top of the dialog gives you access to several settings which control the way the product runs and displays assets.

Application and Asset Display Settings

General - Sets the background colour of the browser in Full Screen mode and allows you to specify which settings are saved when you exit the program.

Viewers - Allows you to set the play behaviour of media assets such as auto-play and looping.

Fonts - Sets the font of text assets.

How to Change the Species Data Location

All species asset information is located under the \Data folder of your product installation. This may be on your DVD-ROM or on the hard drive depending on whether you chose to Copy Data to Hard Drive at installation time.

If you choose to copy the data to another location on your system then you must ensure that the program knows about the new location.

Select the Paths tab on the preferences dialog. Enter the full path of the new location in the Primary Data Path field or alternatively you can browse and select it. The selected folder must contain a set of Species folders containing the various asset files.
